DELUXE MATERIALS have been in production for thirty three years and are unique in their provision of adhesives and related products specifically formulated for the modeller and making no concessions on the quality and purity of the materials used in their products. Their business is global - supplying to more than fifteen countries spanning Japan in the East to North America in the West.
Making no compromises in the formulation and purity of their products means enhanced performance, not just in the bond strength of their adhesives, but their economy in use and shelf life.
The range from DELUXE is big and some items, notably the Aero, Marine and Dolls House products are highly differentiated with attributes relevant only to these types of modelling. Where there is some crossover with railway modelling we have included them in our range.
The main families of adhesives are all in the range - Cyanoacrylates in a choice of viscocity?s, PVA?s , DL24 liquid cement for styrene, ABS, PVC and Plasticard, together with more specialist products ? DL12 for Vinyl & ABS. DL02 Super Phatic, invaluable for fast assembly of card buildings and in many other applications. DL09 remains tacky and is the adhesive of choice for scenic flocks and scatters. DL28 is similar but in sprayable format - ideal for dressing trees with foliage.
Scenic products include Scenic Water in a choice of either thermosetting (two part, resin and hardener) or thermoplastic. Scenic Snow, Rust and Tacky Wax - a very useful material, use it to hold in position items for which permanent gluing is not appropriate, for example Preiser figures.
