O Scale

O Scale: Gauge 32mm, Scale 1:43.5 7mm/foot (1:48 in the US) Until the 1950s O Gauge was king and Hornby tinplate trains were the most popular. The desire to create 'table top' layouts saw the development of OO and HO and O Gauge's star waned. The advantage of O gauge is the level of detail possible but the disadvantages include the space needed and the lack of ready to run stock. We carry a certain amount of O Gauge equipment and a lot of scenic material suitable for this scale
