This is where it all begins - a Starter set. Choose from the Worlds most popular - Scalextric or from one of the other great brands. The track systems are generally not compatible although you can usually race any car on each alternative track.

Consider whether you want a traditional set with two cars on seperate tracks or one of the new 'Digital systems' which allow many cars to race on the same circuit with lane changing and lots of extra features.

Our last tip - buy the most expensive set your budget allows, as each set is heavily subsidised the more you spend the better the package and savings you get.
