Don't miss that delivery: Worried you will be out when your parcel arrives? Solve the problem with a Hippo Box.  Speed: We will ship your order anywhere in the world as quickly as possible. Most model & hobby products are fragile so we take extra care to ensure every item is safely packaged. Once your order is ready to ship we send via Royal Mail (unless you choose and pay for a faster delivery service). To the UK this means deliveries generally arrive within 4 working days of our email notifying you we have shipped. For the rest of the world items usually arrive within 5 -14 days. However we are not responsible for delivery times once items leave us using standard services. We also can't chase progress once shipped. You can upgrade your UK deliveries to a faster, and tracked courier service at the time of ordering. Dispatch times: Unlike a local model shop where you are limited to items they happen to have in stock, here at OnTracks you can order from our suppliers complete ranges - including many hard to find items and products which are due to be released but not yet available. We only hold the most popular items in stock for immediate delivery, all other items are ordered from suppliers to meet your requirements. Once your order is received we will email you if this effects your order. We generally order each Monday morning with stock arriving during the course of the week (we order from some manufacturers in Europe directly which means their stock arrives early the following week - but we benefit from better availability than many other sources). Part Sends: The industry works on a batch production method of producing models. Generally about 80% of a manufacturers range is available at any time. Other items are 'not yet produced' or temporarily out of stock. We do not aim to delay orders because of a particular product being out of stock with a supplier, so we frequently part send orders to give you the largest number of items as quickly as possible. Further shipments of the same order are generally sent to UK delivery addresses without a further postal charge. Items which are due for release in the future are usually treated as a separate order for postal charges. We do however save you money by only making one further postal charge each Quarter, irrespective of the number of shipments we make to you. Deliveries to European Union (EU) Countries: Being in the Common Market saves you any Customs and Excise charges. You instead pay the UK VAT, which is automatically included in the prices shown. Shipping charges are based on weight or volume of your order. In general the more you order from us the cheaper the shipping price becomes - we benefit from discounts as weights for each individual parcel rise. We also offer a free upgrade to a 48 hour delivery service to many North European countries. Deliveries outside the European Union (EU): We frequently ship to countries through out the world. We have a unique, easy to understand method for calculating your shipping charges. We charge a small fixed fee and in addition retain the VAT (Sales Tax) which is automatically included in our prices. So you generally pay the prices shown on this website, plus the small admin charge. Some items are very large or heavy for their value and this systems fails to cover postal charges. In these cases we will contact you in advance to agree the surcharge. Where possible we indicate products which may cause a problem during the check out process on this website. Deliveries to BFPO addresses We are happy to send items to any BFPO address. We use normal services as well as the British Armed Forces own internal mail service. Shipping charges are usually at Standard UK rates. If you wish to receive your items VAT Free please fax your Exemption certificate to us on +44 8704 586 518. Deliveries to Jersey & Guernesey Please choose UK Standard delivery. We will deduct the VAT and charge postage at cost. |
